Security model
Non-custodial wallet principles
Talero Wallet is intended to be non-custodial: your private keys remain
under your control, and signing operations happen on your device or
through a hardware wallet.
-
No central custody: the wallet should never have access to your seed phrase.
-
Hardware-first: compatible with standard browser wallets and hardware devices.
-
Transparent UX: always show the account, network and amount being signed.
Not your keys, not your crypto. Always back up your seed phrase securely and
never enter it into untrusted websites or applications.
Roadmap
Wallet roadmap & integration
The wallet will evolve in parallel with the Talero protocol and explorer.
-
Phase 1: read-only balances & basic account views connected to RPC.
-
Phase 2: transaction sending, basic TLRO transfers and gas estimation.
-
Phase 3: staking & validator management flows, with clear metrics from explorers and dashboards.
Exact dates and feature order may change. Production features will always be
clearly documented in the official Talero docs.
